Laurie Anderson is professor of English language and translation at the University of Siena, Arezzo campus. Her current research focus on multilingual practices in migratory contexts and on English as an academic lingua franca.

Laura Gavioli is professor of English language and translation at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. She is interested in the pragmatics of cross-cultural interaction with a specifi c focus on the dynamics of interpreter-mediated interaction. She is currently the vicechair of AItLA.

Federico Zanettin is professor of English language and translation at the University of Perugia. His research interests include corpus-based translation studies, news translation and the translation of graphic narratives.
